A practical perspective on learning

Dr. Tej’s interest in learning did not begin in academia. He left school at sixteen after attending three different schools, struggling to understand how learning was meant to work for him. That experience shaped a lifelong commitment to making learning more inclusive, practical, and human.

Rather than focusing on labels or deficits, his work has centred on understanding how perception, behaviour, and confidence shape performance, and how those elements can be taught, not assumed.

Grounded in research, proven in practice

Dr. Tej is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sussex and has collaborated with research teams from Oxford Brookes, Coventry University, Birkbeck, University of London, and other institutions. His work has contributed to peer-reviewed research exploring how non-cognitive factors such as mindset, behaviour, and self-perception can reliably predict learning outcomes.

You do not need to fix everything at once

Small changes applied in the right order, can transform how a child feels about learning. Support is available, and you do not have to navigate this alone.
